Default Tiffany Signature Wood Ring
Do you think it would be weird to wear? I am wondering could it get wet? I think it's kind of cute.

Yeah, I like it but I don't think I would pay that much for it.

Cute - but how outrageous is that price? I could never bring myself to pay it.

It's really gorgeous, but it is quite expensive. Although if you like it, go for it!

I think the jewelry prices are goofy.
I mean look at David Yurman, his stuff is mostly silver but does not seem to stop me.
I do not think I would buy this ring. I am getting too old for trendy jewerly.
I just wondered.

My too old, I mean, I am more into diamond and pearls vs. silver these days.

I don't think it would be weird to wear, it is cute, but I agree that the price is a bit steep.

I'm curious to know what kind of wood that is... rare, endangered?

In Hawaii, we have wood floors, jewellery, etc, made from Koa--which is a native wood & it takes a long time to mature. Cattle ranches took up a lot of forest area & the cows eat immature trees. It's hard to get.

That being said, you can still get cute li'l rings & bracelets for way less than $500.

I agree about the price point. It is not my taste. However, I've seen a lot cheaper things that look similar in specialty shops.

ITA. It's damn cute but no where near a $500.00 worth.

way back in the old days, liz taylor did a movie called the sandpiper. she wore a wooden ring that looked like it was set with diamonds but could have been rhinestones. i was so attracted to it. there was a trend in the late 60' when wooden rings were all the rage. i would love to know more about the ring taylor wore. anybody an old movie person with the knowledge?
