Default Tiffany Men's Dog Tag or Triton dog tag
Has anyone ever bought Triton jewelry? I found it at a jewelry store for my hubby. I figured it should be decent because they also sold Breitling, Tag, David Yurman, etc.

I am also looking at the Tiffany dog tags. Soooo, what would I get engraved? I can only engrave 3 letters!

Help, what's your opinion, tiffany or Triton?

I like the Tiffany Dog Tags. I have the Atlas one and the 1837 one. I like the 1837 more though because its bigger. You could engrave his initials.

Oh, just checked out your necklaces. I do love the 1837. I was looking at the coin edge and the Metropolis. I wish I could see the sizes before I made the purchase.
My hubby is a large guy so no small jewerly. Do you know if the Metropolis has the Tiffany logo? I am not sure he'd dig the logo. So, engraving his initials is not cheezy?
I have no idea.

I believe that the metropolis only has the logo engraved on the back in small type. Personally i dont think that initials are cheesy but i guess it would depend on the person. GL in choosing.

As a guy I would prefer Tiffany's coin edge dog tag because it isn't too small and it doesn't have the logo too big on it. I haven't seen triton though, do you have a pic?

Default Tiffany or Triton...
or

Thank you for all of the advice. I suck at this. Here's picture of what I've been looking at, but Tiffany is just abut $75 to $100 more and I think it's def. worth it.

Take a look. I've included the Tiffany coin edge, Tiffany Metropolis and the Triton brand dog tags. Tyler, do you think the coin edge is a little larger than the Metropolis?
I def. want the larger one. I love it that you are into your fashion. You rock.

Thanks,
LC

I would say go for the coin edge. I bought my husband the coin edge last year and he loves it. It's has a good "weight" to it and looks more like a traditional dog tag. In fact we're heading down to Tiffany's this weekend to retreive it and my bracelet from engraving.

Thanks LC! I would have to agree with sil and say go for the coin edge. The pendant on both styles is the same length but the coin edge is a little wider. Plus I think the beaded chain on the coin edge dog tag is cooler than the rope chain on the metropolis pendant. Don't forget the coin edge dog tag comes in different lengths so if your husband is a big guy you might want to go with the 24" unless he prefers the shorter look. Good luck!

Thank you everyone! I ordered the Tiffany coin edge. I can't wait to give it to him.
I hope the 24 inch is to his liking. He is a big guy but I think any shorter may look as though it's choking him.
Thanks!!!

wow, you decided fast! sorry i wasn't here to help. i'm such a T&CO. lover, darn, wish i was here to help. oh wells, i enjoyed reading through the thread though.
I think 24" would look great on a "big" guy. It wouldn't look too long (like how most dog tags would look) or too short. the coin edge looks really cool. i hope he likes it :-) and if he has a good reaction, don't forget to post it here :-).

Great choice with the coin edge I have one and couldn't be happier. It has a really good weight and feel to it.
I am 5' 10" 160lbs and the 24" definitely is the better fit. It has a very masculine look, and would suit any body. I am sure he will love it.

Great, I cannot wait to give it to him! Now, maybe he'll get me the Diamonds by the Yard necklace to match my bracelet...:O...and I want the one with the most diamonds...:).

I will be sure to tell you his reaction. I am going to wait and give it to him at dinner when we are in Italy. Romantic!!!

Problem is, he knows he is getting a surprise, so now i will need to get something else to make him think that was his gift!

You are so cute! That's exactly how me and my dbf think too to try and trick each other.

You guys sound like newly love birds....but i don't want to be foolish and come to that conclusion, thinking about it a little more, you sound like a couple that has been together for a few years and the flame is still burning like crazy!
