Its a "floating" heart. It is supposed to move. Once you wear it awhile, you probably won't notice, and I think the heart is the same on both sides, isn't it?

There is a way to keep it from flipping over. It's kind of hard to explain but instead of just threading the chain through the heart you would loop it as if you were tieing a dog's leash to a tree without actually tying a knot. Do you remember when you were a kid and you used to tie the string of a balloon to your wrist? It's very similar to that as well. Experiment with it and if you still can't figure it out go into a Tiffany's and ask the SA to help you with it.

I've worn my medium sized open heart like that before and it totally helped. I've also seen some other girls wear it that way before.

i have the eighteen inch chain just cause i like how it is longer(and i have a large neck), but i know what you mean about the pendant flipping. I just got used to it and i think the heart looks fine both ways.

I have the small on 16" and it flips around a bit but it really doesn't bother me, it's part of its charm

I love it so much, so cute and simple.

I have this necklace! I love it. It does flip, but that doesn't bother me. I just bought last April in NYC. I wear it everyday!
