lionlaw - your collection is awesome- so incredibly diverse and really is that of a pearl collector-- especially with the Sea of Cortez and the Haliotis iris (Paua)! Those pastels look outstanding on you, as do the peacocks!

Thank you! I love pearls in any form and have about 25 more strands that aren't shown here. Your strands are my favorites besides my Kamoka strand that is being restrung right now.

Lionlaw, those are all incredibly beautiful.

As a newbie to the pearl obsession i've discovered I adore baroques the most, and those freshies are tdf!

And I'm thinking of selling my daughter for some Tahitians

LOL! No wonder I liked them so much, Lionlaw. I emailed Elana earlier today and ordered those!

Something that MsPiggy mentioned and that i think about alot is, when buying pearls online, can anyone offer advice on what colours one should consider when you take into account your skintone? If your only purchasing avenue is online, any tips to try and avoid returns? For example, dark olive skin tone looks best with so and so? Light to medium olive skin, etc etc. Though i have a mediterranean background and dark features, my skin is pale with pink undertone... tia
