I dont think there is any comparison. Rolex is far superior than Tag Hauer. The price also reflects this. Rolex watches vary in prices.

Rolex starts at 4K, Tag starts at 1K. Rolex makes automatic watches and Tag offers both. What is best really depends on what you are looking for.

Rolex without question. Prices range from around $4k for an Explorer or Air King up. It just depends on what type you are interested in.

i have a tag and believe me, if i could afford a rolex, i would immediately buy one.
rolex has been around many years and they're a very reputable watch maker. i wish i could give you specifics, but i would think it's like comparing apples & oranges. if you're reluctant to spend the extra money on a rolex, i have had my tag for 10+ years and it's an excellent watch. i love it. i have the men's stainless steel version because i prefer a laid back, oversized watch. mine retailed for $1,300, but like i said, this was 10 years ago. not sure of the pricing these days. |

Rolex holds their value a lot better in comparison.
If you have the money and the interest in wearing a really nice watch, get the Rolex. And the pricing will depend a lot on what style you choose, and what materials, as well as whether you get it from an AD, or a grey dealer. |

This is easy, definitely Rolex by far. If resources are limited, why not by a 2nd hand Rolex you can get it for the price of a Tag in retail. I bought a Rolex midsize stainless steel with oyster strap (I believe it's from 1999 production) for around $1700 a few months ago, the price for a similar watch in retail currently is more than $4500

Rolex!! They and Omega is the onely brands in the world who manufacture ther own pices of the watch. 90% of the rest get them from ETA, and that will be a problem in 2010 when ETA stop selling to other than their own brands (The swatch group)....
