Surprise Gift - Aquamarine ring!
I've been looking for an aquamarine ring for some time, but could never find the right setting with the right colored stone. Dh has been travelling a lot for work recently, and I received a package in the mail today from him with this.
 It is a 14K white gold ring with a 7 X 9 mm stone and (my guess) probably less than .10 of diamonds. The stone is very pale and untreated, which is actually my preference for aquamarines, despite deeper blue stones being more highly valued. I have been seraching high and low for a pale blue-green untreated stone!

I'm having a hard time getting pictures that aren't blurry or where the flash isn't going crazy. And when I adjust the flash on the camera, I get dark pictures. Grr!

That's love! Love the setting and shape of the stone. It looks like it fits you perfectly! Yes, Swanky's got a great idea. If it's sunny out, take pics outside because I can't see the beauty of the color in the flash.
