I am currently looking for a new gold necklace- 18 inch. I would like a piece that can be worn everyday, price range up to $1500. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Any VCA recs? I would like it to be a timeless piece if there is such a thing. TIA

are you looking for just a chain /pendant combo or just plain gold? YG? WG? rose gold? do you want chunky or links?

I love Jennifer Meyers beautiful gold necklaces (I live in the UK & only know about them thanks to this wonderful forum).

You've got a pretty nice budget, so take your time to look for a necklace you'll really love. I quite agree with Kat723, half the fun of buying jewellery is looking for it! With that budget you could get something nice from Van Cleef or Tiffany.
