Question Suggestion for what to wear with Love Bangle?
I'm finally buying a Cartier YG Love Bangle(no diamonds) this week
I'm planning to wear it on my right wrist and want to add 1 or 2 more bracelet or bangle with it. So, my choice so far is (1) VCA sweet alhambra bracelet (yg chain with one small motif) (2) Cartier Charity bracelet (3)another Love bangle in Pink Gold(no diamonds)...... this one, I have to start saving money to get so it'll be a while.

Which one would you choose, and if you don't like any of them do you have any suggestion?

I like it with either the charity or RG bracelet, but not the VCA. Are you planning on purchasing the bangle that stays locked on or the cuff? I like the look of one bangle and one cuff together. I have the RG cuff and my next purchase will be the YG bangle. I also have the 2009 charity and centennial trinity to mix and match. If I didn't get sidetracked though with the 2 bracelets on cords, I would have my YG bangle by now. Because the others were limited, I felt a little pressured. Let us know what you decide!

I'd save for the 2nd gold bracelet. I think the cord ones are a little overpriced for what it is.

Honestly, I would get a plain yellow gold bangle (or two!), with no markings of any kind to go with it. I think this would make your Cartier one stand out a little and look special rather than "competing" with other designer/decorated ones. Have fun getting your bangles!

did you get the one with the screw, or the cuff? i realize it's not relevant, but i'm just curious.

i have the bangle (the one with the screw and screwdriver) and i wear mine on my right wrist (it's rose gold, btw). i don't know, i have tried wearing it with something else, and for me, it just seemed like too much. maybe because i have a lot going on on my left wrist/hand, so for me, having it more simple on my right, is better. but obviously everybody is different.

EDIT: sorry, i just noticed you mentioned you're getting the bangle, not the cuff, above. my bad.

i agree. i thought when the charity bracelets initially came out, i thought $375 was somewhat reasonable considering you were still getting a solid 18k gold "ring" around the rope, but now they're like $700 because of a small diamond 'spec'? i don't think that's worth it. i would remove the rope and wear it as a ring, tbh. lol

But the ring is way too tiny to wear on a finger. You can put it on something else to wear as a necklace though.

Hmm. I've worn mine (a bangle) with:

- Elsa Peretti 18K YG open heart bracelet

- 18K YG Hawaiian Heirloom bangle

- Yellow gold ball-chain necklace wrapped several times around the wrist

- Ceylon sapphire rondelle bead bracelet

- Black spinel rondelle bead bracelet

- hair elastic (after yoga class...)

- Black leather cuff

- Black leather cuff with gunmetal studs

- Royal blue velvet ribbon

- my watch on days where I feel like writing with my left hand instead of my right (bangle is on right wrist)

Uh, yeah, I'm kinda random.

I guess anything goes, huh?
Well, first of all I have to get used to having things around my right wrist. I never really had anything on my right wrist since it gets in a way a lot of times.

That's her at 4 months old. She is now 6 months old and looks even cuter!

I also have the gold Cartier love bracelet, and I wear it on my left wrist along with a classic gold Christian Dior tank watch. I tried wearing it alone on either wrist, and it really annoyed me. Wearing the watch with it helps me forget I'm wearing a bracelet day and night that I need a screwdriver to get off. I carry the screwdriver with me at all times......just in case.LOL

I really love the look with VCA Sweet Alhambra Bracelet. Here's lovely La Van's pic I found in VCA thread
