I think the "less is more" approach should be applied to her makeup too. At least she should lay off those dark colors.

Hmmm it's a different culture, maybe in the West less is more, but Arab women wear very heavy make up (even more so if they hide their hair under the hijab) and it is an old tradition to wear all the jewelery they own at once especially on formal occasion / function.
