I think the "less is more" approach should be applied to her makeup too. At least she should lay off those dark colors.

Hmmm it's a different culture, maybe in the West less is more, but Arab women wear very heavy make up (even more so if they hide their hair under the hijab) and it is an old tradition to wear all the jewelery they own at once especially on formal occasion / function.

And Bizad , yes you are right third pic is Masako's SIL, Princess Kiko.

Baroda, India, at her husband's birthday in 1948, Sita Devi, the Maharani of Baroda, was photographed wearing a slightly
modified version of the necklace (The star of the south diamond + English Dresden) where more diamonds had been added around the bottom portion of the English Dresden.

Star of the South and the 78.5-carat English Dresden below it. Photo circa 1880

Queen Mary wearing the Cambridge and Delhi Dunbar Parure

delhi-durbar-emerald-necklace-royal-collection.jpg
After Queen Elizabeth II inherited the Delhi Durbar Parure from Queen Mary, after her death in 1953, the Delhi Durbar Necklace became her favorite piece of Jewelry and she had been seen wearing this necklace on many occasions, including two recent occasions when she met Nelson Mandela of South Africa and King Juan Carlos of Spain.

Yes and we should embrace those differencies. beauty comes in all forms and shapes and what may not be your taste maybe the next ones epitomy of elegance.!
