It seems like most of the jewels posted are white gold/diamond encrusted. So yellow gold isn't quite as popular for jewelry sets/tiaras?

I really dislike those sashes and badges with the ribbons behind them some of them wear. It really wrecks their whole outfit. Also, I wish they would wear simpler headpieces sometimes, like blingy but styled more like headbands than those tiaras and crowns.

wow this thread rocks! big time!! it's really interesting to see princess caroline of hannover wearing a tiara/crown as I've rarely seen her wearing some...I love Maxima of Hollands' jewelry and I had never realized how much jewelry queen Silvia has!! also, Camilla of Cornwalls' snake necklace, it seems to me she's always wearing it! and princess Madeleine is sooo elegant! love it! thanks for posting!!

Definitely, my favorite is the engagement ring and the emerald (I think it's emerald) choker! they are to die for !
