I don't think that's Diana's ring as the prongs, the cut of the stone, and the sz is different.

I agree, I don't think that's Diana's ring either, I thought about it when I saw it yesterday, the diamonds look smaller than in other pictures proportional to the size of the center stone....

Last two! The wedding of King Mohamed the 6th with Princess Lalla Salma, and the other photo is of their daughter, Princess Lalla Khadija. Look at the adorable gold belt :) Gotta start them young :)

This is not Diana's engagement ring. Hers had 14 smaller diamonds surrounding the sapphire. This has 16.

I was just at the Smithsonian museum of natural history yesterday and took a few pics. I thought this would fit into this thread.. here are a few pics of the earrings that were supposedly owned by Marie Antoinette and the diadem and necklace owned by Empress Marie Louise (second wife of Napoleon 1)
