Ick! Is the price increase worldwide or just in certain countries? I was planning to get a lady-datejust when I visit Taiwan in November (no tax and supposedly it costs less in Taiwan vs. US).

I don't mean to question, but my fiance' works at a Rolex AD and he has heard no word of a price increase. At least in the US..

ughhh, i hate all these price increases. Chanel has them, so does LV, so does Cartier, and I guess Rolex does too.

Again? I'm sure their sales are down because of the economy. What makes them think they will sell if the price goes higher?

I haven't heard anything either-- there's no mention of an increase anywhere online. Can someone confirm this?

Perhaps it was a white lie to get you to buy now?

Here in singapore, my AD said there is no price increase until 1st quarter of next year. But I spoke to him a month ago though. I will verify this again. If there is a price increase, i dont think it would be that drastic. My AD also mentioned that normally, price increases for some rolex items are up to 2-3% only. I hope he's right. Im buying a new rolex in december and i'ld be so bummed if the 12% increase is true.

Ok- there was a price increase today, but only on the men's all stainless steel Professional series. Most went up 150- 300 dollars. The biggest increase was the men's stainless steel Daytona, went up by 750 dollars or so. No price increase on any others to my knowledge.

I phoned around when I first came across this thread and the authorized dealers in the Toronto area hadn't heard of any price increase...
