Default Rolex at JCrew!!!???
I was just looking on JCrew.com and they had some vintage Rolexes offered! It said in store only and one per person. Wow I surprised.

I have to go back and take a look to see if I was imagining things! How would they do a deal like that? Haven't heard of any authorized arrangements other than ADs before.

Just went back and checked - under "Accessories" subcategory "Necessary Luxuries"

That is quite interesting. I just saw pics. I already have 2 rolexes but it is tempting. I can't buy anything for awhile so someday I will have enough saved for my Love bangle. But they are certainly cool looking. What do you think about the $2800 price?

Not bad! I wish they had some for women too... those are mens' sizes, correct?

I am confused. Since when did Rolex do a partnership with J. Crew? Also these are "vintage", I am just wondering if that means pre-owned/used arleady. Not a bad price though (I think).

From the item description it sounds like they are real vintage pieces. "We want as many people as possible to enjoy our rare vintage Rolex watches." If they are real vintage, then I don't think they need permission from Rolex to sell them.

-I'm thinking then they need to have some kind of disclaimer that they are not an auth dealer, no affiliation etc with Rolex, like I have seen on other reseller's websites, for example.

I have no idea re the prices, don't know the detaisl and condition of the watches, plus I'm no expert. But those men's are only lightly larger than the Midsize. I have had a couple of Airkings....

Hmmrphf! I wonder what sort of warrantee they're offering. I'd totally buy one if it were a ladies watch. I'm afraid I can't pull off the larger face.

Hmm.. it would depend on the watch and the condition, but I'm not sure if 2,800$ is a deal.

Ugh. I can't imagine trying to have them fix it if anything went wrong.

BTW- WHAT ARE THEY THINKING????!!! It's not like now is really the time to add Rolexes to the lineup, KWIM?

Why are they insanely overpriced? I thought the new ones in this style are over $4,000. You can't buy a Rolex for a couple of grand.

Are these all men's? They list the black as men's and the white under women's.

I'd prefer to go to a jewelry store that has experience selling used Rolexes if I was looking for one.
