Default Ring Sizing Help
Hi everyone,

I need help! I saw a ring online that I fell in love with and have been eyeing for a while now. I've read some of the reviews on the ring, and everyone's complained how the ring is top heavy and tends to slide to the side. After reading the reviews, should I order one size smaller than I usually am? I usually wear a 7 on my middle and pointer finger. I figure that if I go one size down then it would fit snug on my finger to prevent it from sliding to the sides. Or should I just go with the 7 and deal with it? But then I'm worry the 6 might be too snug....what do you think girls? HELP!

Do you have a link to the ring? Hmm, that is a tough choice. I have a ring with a stone that I had sized smaller, and it still "turns" when I dig in my handbag etc. I have heard that you can get "bumps" added inside to help it stay in place. My jewelry said they could do it for $15 but I haven't tried it yet, maybe something like that might help?

Sizing down will not make the ring stay in place, it will probably just make the ring too tight to wear. If you really like it I would order it and then see if a jeweler can do something to make it stay in place.
Also, there is a chance that the ring will not turn on you after all!

a whole size down? Eeek, that could be very uncomfortable TBH.

Hmmm. I don't think sizing it down would help... Why is the ring so heavy?

Thanks ladies. So I went into my jeweler today and they don't recommend me sizing a whole size down either. It's a 15 carat amethyst...*gasp*. ^_^
