I did a search but it didn't works so I am sorry if there has been a post about this recently.
Anyway, I just got engaged! My fiancee gave me his grandmothers ring and I love it! The only thing is it's a little snug and it needs to be resized. I've never owned jewelery with this much sentimental and $$ value and I am so nervous to take it to a jeweler. I am afraid they will mess up and ruin it. Can anyone suggest a jeweler in NYC that will resize a ring that wasn't bought at their store? If not, do you have any tips on how to tell if a jeweler is qualified? |

Re-sizing a ring is really a very simple process. Not very much chance of error, especially since it's only a little snug. There are so many jewelry stores in the city,
but one that is recommended by Pricescope is ANGARA. I ordered a diamond bangle from them and was very pleased with the service. They have a brick and mortar store on 15 W 47th St. You can check their web site and give them a call. |

I know that Good Old Gold can do it on-site and they are I think in Long Island. They are my choice.
