Default QVC gold jewelry
Hello, I have noticed that QVC makes a lot of gold jewelry. I have never bought any gold jewelry from QVC. I have bought their sterling silver jewelry and that seems to be okay. I want to know has anyone bought their gold jewelry. If so, what do you think? good quality gold jewelry? Thanks in advance.

In the past, QVC has had very nice gold jewelry. I have a few pieces that are nearly 20 years old, and I still wear them a lot.

However, a lot of people on the QVC forum are saying that the gold jewelry is much thinner than it used to be (because of the high prices). At least you can return the jewelry if it doesn't meet your expectations!

^^ That is true about being able to return. I'm glad that you have pieces that have lasted 20 years. That is very good information for me. I am interested in a few pieces and I have never bought their gold before. I was thinking about buying their gold because they look very nice and some of the prices are amazing. I may take the plunge and buy something. Thank you for responding.

My mom has always bought tons of pieces from QVC and rarely had problems with anything and she has liked most everything...but definitely, take advantage of the returns if you don't like the piece. They're great about their returns and crediting your account/sending you a refund right away.

I have bought my mom many pairs of gold earrings from QVC and not yet has there been any problem. In fact, aside from a pair I found locally, she usually wears those more than anything.

I've had no problems with them.

I ordered a gold bracelet from them that wasn't at all what I expected. It was hollow, which wasn't noted in the description. But they do take returns with no problems. I am more comfortable and feel I get more for my money with BlueNile for gold (plus they carry almost exclusively 18K, which I prefer), although they have a smaller selection.

QVC gold jewelry looks better on TV than it does in person (like most things sold on TV). It is quite small and thin and usually hollow, but it's gold and gold is expensive. You can't compare it to their silver, because that's a cheaper material. Some of it is nicer, but you pay for that. So if something looks too good to be true for the price they are selling it for, it probably is.

The few pieces I've purchased I've sent back. Not because of poor quality or craftsmanship but because it's too light. You tend to pay for more than you get. The gold I'm used to has a nice heavy weight to it and that's usually not the case with the QVC stuff. Those of my friends that don't mind the weight of their jewellry haven't had any issues, that I'm aware of anyway

I think it's a bit hit or miss. I have bought a few 18K gold pieces from them and have been very happy, but I have also returned two pieces. I find the pieces that are made in Italy seem better quality. I ususally buy earrings from QVC so lightweight is actually a plus for me because my ears cannot take a heavy earring.

I agree, it is hit or miss. It really depends on what piece you are getting. I purchased some gold/diamonique hoops and they are light, but seem to be good quality
