Perhaps you can have your store manager send it to Roland at King of Prussia cause he totally does not believe it! Please write to hold for HoKaplan. This store is in Pennsylvania. I'm sure your Tiffany store will have the address.
It was only at the LA store and for three days. I will find the address myself and send it tomorrow morning from the post office and will attention it to Roland, Assistant Store Manager with signature delivery. I will put a note in that says "please give to the customer with the name HoKaplan." lol, that sounds like an odd name to write but whatever.

This thread is VERY odd and not really something that we want to be involved with or have happening on the forum.

Our rules do matter, and if you do not choose to follow them, this may not be a forum for you.

Oh that is fine, don't worry about it. I just needed some advice, I think its best that I don't visit this forum anymore. Besides, somebody said it was okay to accept or give gifts, but since you say it is "odd" then I guess we can just forget about it. I think what you posted is very odd, not what I was doing.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who chiped in some advice. Good luck and bye.

You said yourself that you are not keen on following rules

Asking for help is totally fine. But yes, the rest of this thread strikes me as off.

I think I was following rules! I was trying to be so careful. I even PMed Swanky a couple times to make sure it was ok to accept a gift. She said it was fine. I guess I won't be getting that $500 gift card anymore. And I was beginning to believe it was true....

I think it was all a hoax.

I just can't see someone going straight from not allowing rules to stand in his way to leaving the forum just because a single person thought what he was doing was "odd"...

i would go for something by chopard...all woman love the happy diamonds collection. or..you could do something for charriol, or every girl/woman needs a nice pair of pearl studs..mikimoto is always an option because a.) they are the king of pearls and b.) the prices go from $500 for a pair of simple pearl studs, to thousands of dollars for pearls with diamonds.

also, i am from the LA area and i, who am also 20 years old, LOVE XVI carats on beverly. i am sure you have heard of it...as people like lindsey lohan, britney spears, etc all have been seen there. Anyways..they have some amazing pieces..especially the diamond bangles there.

hope this helps!!

Not to sound harsh or b!tchy but everything about that poster seemed off. It appeared as if he was trying too hard to prove something to people.

I absolutely believe it was a hoax. I just found the thread now, so I didn't read it as it was happening....I read it all the way through at once. Even before he brought up the giftcard it did not "smell right" to me. If someone likes giving gifts to his girlfriend and mother, how about giving one of them the $500 gift certificate?

In my life whenever something seems too good to be true, it always is.
