Hello,
I have had 2 of these and my first one did wear off since I constantly switched the beads and cleaned it frequently. The second has not worn off because I never switch the beads or clean it. Twice a year I take the beads off to get them cleaned and it looks great . I love the look but the finish is tricky to maintain.

thanks for the reply. how do you think it would hold up if there was only a couple of beads on it... i guess that would make it worse, because it would always be rubbing against stuff?

Well said......but you could also wear it as you envisioned then just replace the bracelet when it wears. Bracelets are inexpensive vs.some beads we buy. Look on the sister photo thread my Oxi Pandora is shown. I just have the center filled.I say if you have one take care of it and if you want one go for it!!!!!!

i was planning to get one with a gold clasp - so wouldn't be looking to replace it. I'm not planning to get it yet so will have to have a think about it. How long do you reckon it takes for the dark tarnish to wear off?

Ooooh I got ya....hmmm. I think if you fill it and never clean the base bracelet just the beads I think it will last forever but wearing it as you mentioned I would say 9mo to 1yr. A thought remember a gold bead is 200. and forever the bracelet is 50. and replacable. My gold clasp bracelet is the shiny one that can be cleaned and made to look brand new for years to come. I am excited for you either way.....good luck my find. Be sure to post when you decide so can have Pandora envy LOL.

I've noticed some wear on my oxy bracelet after about four months of use, but I switch beads almost every day. I think if I got a gold one, I'd save that for the 'good' bracelet. But I really kinda like the look once it wears off a bit. On the Denmark Beads site, they have a necklace that looks like it's a bit worn (I think with silver and gold beads) and I think it looks NICE. The 'top' gets a bit shinier, but the base stays dark so it didn't look like the bright bracelet, more like a medium option.

I love my pandora...there is this little shop near my house that's been in business for about 80 years...every time you buy a new bead, they clean your whole collection and replace them on your bracelet...they are wonderful!

Okay, looked at the necklace and that looks like it was just the lighting used to photograph, that one necklace looks shiner. Now I have new necklace ideas. :)

^^^^ I don't think we are. Haven't seen them in the stores and they're not in the catalog I've got.

My husband was in Palm Springs this week so I called around and the one shop I located doesn't have the braided bracelets (double or single) yet. They are expecting them.

The store where I live in Canada doesn't have them either - suppose to be here in November. I may have to order the ones I want from overseas. It seems like theve been out for months now in Europe/Australia.
