I ended up choosing some things there, but it took a long time and a lot of second-guessing. I'm the same. I feel very guilty about spending someone elses money. My husband couldn't even get me to spend his money on my engagement ring. He had to choose budget and ring (it was a lot more expensive than I would of chosen )

I often go shopping with out lots of $ - and see heaps of things I would like. Then when I do have the $ I can't find anything! WTF?

I don't think it is stupid, ungrateful or bratty. I think it is nice that you want your Mum to choose it - then you won't feel bad as she can choose her budget. I can't wait to see what you get. It will be nice to get a surprise. Happy birthday to you for Sunday!

Beadbaby - I have the two tone purse (for my Grandma) and I love it. I think that is a lovely choice.

Happy belated birthday my_delirium!

I've definitely had trouble deciding on a bead esp. the muranos. For some reason, I just can't imagine how one murano will look with another untill I see them in person.

In regards to the gift from your mom, could you maybe give her a list of beads you like and then let her pick from there? I've seen stores that let you create a "wish list" online or in the store. I've also seen stores around the holidays like Mother's Day or Valentines day stack tons of muffin tins. Then the bracelet owner goes in the store and fills the muffin tin with the beads she likes, they place her name on it and the shoppers come back and pick out the beads they want to buy.

Wow I love it! Happy 4th July to everyone celebrating today.

No new bead today, my store didn't have the two tone purse, I'm going to order it online instead :)

Edited... I've added pics of my current collection in the pandora picture thread

SpoilMeRotten: It's a brand in Australia called Amorica. They're all sterling silver, some with gold, and I started with an Amorica Bracelet before I knew what Pandora was.
My Amorica is my novelty bracelet with cherries, strawberries, frog, dragonfly, camera, angel, shoes, owl, penguin, purse, butterfly etc....

My Pandora is going to be my dressier bracelet and more symmetrical, IYKWIM?

I love them both but only wear my Amorica occasionally, I wear my Pandora everyday!

I am thinking about getting a murano bead for my bracelet. Do they discontiue these very often? I am just wondering if there are any that might not be around much longer that I should get before they are gone.
