Hi gals! So I need some advice from you all of you jewelry-savvy TPFers...

I just purchased the Tiffany Jean Schlumberger Two Leaves ring in 18k gold, platinum, and .54ctw diamonds. I've been wearing it for about two days now and can't decide whether or not I LOVE it. Meaning, sometimes I look at it and feel

and other times I'm just a little

about it. Is this normal? What do you all think...is this piece worth keeping? Pics attached!

I think its gorgeous!! Keep it!

(sometimes I am the same way with some of my stuff,depends how I feel I think? Sometimes I really love it,sometimes I almost wish I'd picked something else....I think you can get that way when you come on here and see sooo many other lovely things!!)

thank you, chaz! it's good to know i'm not the only one who wavers... you are right, i think it totally has to do with all the other pretty sparklers i keep seeing that i COULD have gotten instead with the $... it's so hard to stay focused on here! lol

^^^ Hahahaha!! Thats very true! I love my e'ring to bits,but sometimes when I see Swanky's....I think 'should I have gone for a bigger one'!!LOL!! There is ALWAYS temptations around!

I think it is a really beautiful ring!

Here's my honest opinion about the ring itself: I think it's very '80s. There's so much beautifully designed jewelry out there for $4600, I wouldn't chose something that looked like it's been in my mom's jewelry box for the past 20 years after she picked it up at a flea market for $300.

If you've been wearing it for 2 days and haven't decided that you completely love it, you're always going to be gong back and forth about it. I say return it.

i always say if in doubt, dont. personally i dont love the ring but u r the one wearing it. if u dont feel WOW for that kinda $$ it should probably go back.
