Default New Freshadama strand of pearls!
Both strands are Freshadama.

I bought the smaller strand about 2 weeks ago and decided I wanted a larger pearl and a softer overtone. Before I ship the smaller strand back, I thought I would take comparison shots.

The smaller strand is 6-7mm, white with silver overtone
The larger strand is 7-8mm, white with rose overtone

The rose is much better suited to my skin and overall I am very pleased. I am a little disappointed in the stringing. One knot is very loose and the pearl has over 1mm of wiggle room (shown in the picture). Oh well. Since I string pearls myself, I will re-do it in a couple of months.

All in all, I just love the Freshadama line and will happily do more business with pearlparadise. :)

Very pretty! I like the bigger strand better, too. I plan on getting a bigger pearl strand in the future. I have a 7-9mm graduated strand. I'm thinking maybe 9-10mm all the way around.

That's a shame about the bad stringing. Maybe you can send it back with the other strand for them to fix it free of charge so you don't have to do it yourself. That's poor quality control, in my opinion.

It is a catch 22. I want a perfect strand, but I don't want to wait 10-ish days for mailing and repair.

I know I should send them back, but I have some events/outfits over the next couple of weeks that really scream for pearls.

Oh well!

Aw! I'm so sorry about the stringing! This is literally the first I've ever heard of something like this happening at PP. Ever.

Well! They both look lovely and I hope everything works out!! Maybe we'll see pics of the final product? BTW- SO jealous that you know how to string... I really should learn, but I'm too lazy. Arg. That reminds me... I need to get some 10-11m freshwaters strung soon. Groan.

It is actually really easy! I will restring them on Power Pro, so any future stretch will virtually be eliminated. :)

I did email Kirsten to tell her I am pleased with the pearls, but felt it was necessary to provide some customer feedback for QC. It definitely should have been noticed... it was the first thing I saw when I opened the box.

Lovely pearls!!! I totally agree they should have noticed the stringing before sending it out.

Congrats! these just look yummy! Modeling pics?
I can't wait to order my own strand.
I love my freshadama studs but I JUST noticed that they aren't the exact same color. One looks more ivory than the other But I don't want to spend for shipping them over, and waiting for PP to ship it back..oh well!

Sorry they couldn't match your pearls better. On the bright side, they're going to be so far apart when you wear them, no one will ever notice.
