i posted this authenticate this piece of jewelry...sorry mods for starting this thread but i found this watch at a consignment store and put it on hold. the lady called me 3 hours ago telling me i have 'til noon tomorrow because someone is interested in buying it and she can't hold it for me forever. they're asking for $1500. i have no clue what year it's from or how much this was purchased by its 1st owner. i've been looking for a watch for a while now and really liked this one. its simplicity is perfect. but i just saw one on ebay for $1250 OBO...so idk if this is a bad price.

i think the price is good for a cartier, its not stainless its gold from what i see...

wait for other pfers to chime in someone might have knowledge on how old the watch is. i have a cartier must21 but its a two tone steel bracelet .. sorry im no help here

i think that is a high price. it is plated gold over silver, not solid gold. sometimes the plated gold is not very stable.

i have a classic tank like that, with the roman numerals...bought over 10 years ago. i considered selling/ consigning it...i was offered $500 for it. i decided to keep it for that amount. the strap on that looks a bit worn, so you may want to see how much a new strap will cost.

they are not water resistant, just to let you know. i find my tank francaise more useful, as it is water resistant.
