I think the second one looks more like the J12 but actually prefer the first one. I don't know MK watches at all, but it sounds like a good price for a cute watch.

I like both....but the "diamonds" on the bezel are Swarovskis, which might fall out within a short period of time. It is a 32mm case, which is not as trendy. If you don't mind spending a little extra, the Guess Collection has watches that are actually ceramic. There is also Swiss Legend which offers watches without diamonds, but are 40mm. I have the one with diamonds and get lots of compliments, but they do have one without diamonds for not too much more than the Michael Kors. I don't work for them, or anything, just bought some of their watches. This came from an ebay seller.

I bought an Invicta white ceramic watch, very plain, no sparkles, and I love it (amazon.com).
I love it so much I just bought a pink one--I am not a pink girly girl but loved the thought of a plain pink ceramic watch (shopnbc.com). |

Actually, that's a good choice, too! (I have the black one), but it doesn't look so much like the J12..... It's just that which a Michael Kors watch, that is not ceramic, it is acrylic and I hate the idea of anyone paying that for acrylic. Ceramic, at least is a little durable, though pricey.

I almost bought the first MK, I wish I did.... they are so nice! The swarovski bezel really makes a great statement, especially if you wear b/w clothes, it will really stand out.

Are ceramic watches just trendy - or are they better? I'd be afraid of a white one...wouldn't it get dirty really quickly? |

That's the beauty of them.....just wipe it down with a damp cloth. But watch on hard surfaces like a stone floor.
