Default Melrose Jewelers
Has anyone heard of this jeweler? They sell pre-owned Rolex watches online and I think they have a store in LA. My dad wants to order from them, but the prices are so good, I'm kind of skeptical. I told him I'd ask the experts!

Default Melrose Jewelers Rolex Dealer: Mens & Ladies Rolex Watches
I actually just posted an answer about them on another site I'm starting to sound like a broken record. Yep, I've actually purchased two Rolex watches from Melrose Jewelers and they're legit. Speak to Scott, he's a genius!!
I looked at the Rolex Datejust, and Rolex Day Date President, and I ended up getting the rolex oyster perpetual lady date just with this cool string diamond dial and mother of pearl face
http://www.melrosejewelers.com/info/...silver_511.htm

I highly recommend Melrose Jewelers if you are in the market for a Rolex watch and are smart enough to know that a pre owned Rolex is a better decision. (I mean Rolex Dealers charge like 3x the price.

I'll try and show you a pick if I can upload it.

I've been looking for this watch for almost 6 months now and finally decided to go with Melrose Jewelers. I received my Rolex last week and had it appraised and its 100% authentic Rolex. I don’t remember a day that I haven’t got a compliment on my Rolex. I am very happy with this purchase. And I will definitely buy from them again.
They were very helpful and helped me decide on the Rolex I wanted. They are the top website in Google and I wouldn’t trust anyone else over them.

A lot of the Rolex's that they sell on the website are from the 70's. I actually asked about a year ago through the website and I got a response from them that the watches on their website are mostly from the 70's (they ended up answering my question a month later also...They do have an actual store.

In regards to the prices being very very low, the age of the Rolex's is one reason and that AFTERMARKET DIAMONDS, including those on almost all of their dials and bezels are NOT GENUINE ROLEX. Rolex will not service a watch with ANY aftermarket parts including diamonds.

Chanelgirl that’s good information, it seems like no matter who you go with most preowned rolexes have aftermarket diamonds on them. I’m aware that they are aftermarket but the price difference makes sense to me.

Yes, the majority of pre-owned Rolex dealers do sell Rolex's with aftermarket diamonds. They often do these to raise the "perceived" desirability of the watch and say that the retail is the same as an original Rolex with ROLEX diamonds. Make sure to determine if the diamonds are aftermarket or original if that isn't stated, sometimes dealers will state that the diamonds are aftermarket, not original Rolex and when they don't, it can be very deceptive.

There are some dealers that strictly sell 100% original Rolexes, there are a few good ones on ebay that I am aware of and I know there is someone on The Rolex forums that people rave about.

For some people, it just doesn't matter that the diamonds or dials aren't genuine Rolex and that Rolex won't service the watch, however, it is important to differentiate between original Rolex diamonds, dials and parts and aftermarket parts added by someone other then Rolex.

Default Rolex - Melrose jewelers
Melrose Jewelers is a brilliant luxury watch retailer. Their website is absolutely beautiful. I found myself looking at different watches and models for over an hour before I came across their mother of pear two tone collection. Decided to call them and let me tell you their staff is very friendly and will walk you through the purchase process step by step. I got the watch after 2 days and it was as they described. The most important thing though, if you ask me, is that you can trust them. I could never buy another expensive watch with a company of less integrity. Absolutely recommend.

Default I purchased the watches from them.
I purchased those watches from melrose jewerlers. However, I found the bezel part is not real rolex, even though the description tells it is original part of rolex. The return policy says we can return it when the description is different, so I tried to get refund it, but they don't do that, and even they don't answer my e-mail and they don't get my phone call. Also, the inside of watches is damaged.

go to watchuseek and check out the rolex forum there. there was just a post on Melrose Jewelers and every single response said NOT to buy from them. They said that they sell watches that have fixed up with non-rolex parts which will then put you in a position where a Rolex service center will not work on the watch if it needs service. I have no personal experience. . .I'm just repeating what that forum said. If I were you I'd wait a bit until Rolexforums is back up and look around there. Or at least post a question there about this seller--they guys on there know their watch-stuff for sure (they're a little errrrr. . .obsessive about Rolexes. . .you'll feel a real kinship since we're members of TPF hahaha!!)

Smile great watch
I purchased a men's two tone datejust from melrose jewelers. I was a bit hesitant to buy the watch because I was leaving town that week and wanted to wear my watch but it was a last minute thing. Their customer service was very helpful. I got the watch the very next day as they promised. I was very happy with their service and got exactly what i was promised.

That's funny. I can't find any bad posts there. Couple of questions and
recommendations actually. I was a bit skeptical of them at first but once you browse Melrose Jewelers website you’ll notice they have a great selection of watches. They also sell jewelry and their website is absolutely beautiful.
