Wow that really sucks. I mean I wouldn't expect that coming from Cartier jewelry. I think I read somewhere that someone had it replaced for free from Cartier. I asked my sales about that and she said she's never heard anyone complain. Maybe that batch including the one u got is no good?!

When I asked SA about RG fading issue, she said it's unlikely to happen, because RG is an alloy mix of gold/metals, and not plated or dipped. But apparently it CAN happen, because I read it somewhere on TPF. Maybe it was an issue with the bracelets with the old screw system?
Initially I was reluctant in getting the RG one because of this, but I loved it so much and because it's a new screwsystem now, I just thought to give it a chance! I've been wearing it together with WG now for couple of months and luckily no problems so far!

YG is stunning as well, but looked too yellow on my skin. Never been a fan of RG, but Cartiers RG is different...

RG is really popular right now but I think it might be equally popular in the Love bracelet as YG. RG is very flattering on some skin tones but YG looks better on me.

Cartier in Rome had several RG on display when I was there this weekend, both with and without diamonds. I was deciding between RG and YG and the SA told me RG seems to be very popular lately, much more so than earlier!

My rose gold bracelet is with the new screw system. I just got the bracelet 7 months ago. This makes me want to go to the boutique and have it taken care of. This sucks. I feel like I got a defective bracelet.

They were retailing at the same price as US stores, but yes, you'd save with no taxes or import duties.

Yep. I have the new screw system and it started as rose gold. It now it looks like yellow gold. I should post a pic. My screwdriver is rose and it's a completely different color than my bracelet. It's very noticeable. I'll try to post one tomorrow.

adeener, please post a picture.. I contemplated RG for a long time but ended up with YG because I felt that it is more classic specially as my first Love bracelet. I'm now thinking of getting the RG with diamonds, but if its gonna turn yellow x_X then I should go for WG instead!

I also thought that my screwdriver is much more yellow than my bracelet, but another tpfer informed me it is because the screwdriver isn't actually gold...so that might be why?

I have the love bracelet with the new screw system in RG. I initially thought that it had started to fade to YG after a week of wearing it, as I compared it to the screwdriver and the screwdriver was very much pinker - however, maybe the screwdriver was pinker in the first place?

Yeah the screwdriver isn't actually gold so it isn't the best to compare the color to. My YG bracelet isn't exactly the same color as the screw driver, the screw driver is a bit more yellow. Mine is just a few months old and the new screw system also.

From what I remember the color of my screwdriver wasn't that much different from my bracelet. I forgot to take a comparison picture today but I'll try to remember tomorrow. Even if the colors weren't exactly the same in the beginning, it's obvious the colors are very different now.
