I know folks who've purchased from the ebay seller generalwar, and were very happy, 100% authentic, great prices.

You can get a better price on a Rolex with diamonds if the diamonds are installed outside of Rolex (by a jeweler), but then the resale value goes down.

Good luck!

I bought a year old Rolex Daytona from Tourneaeu. Actuallly i waw it in my local store and it got sold when i came back. They were nice enough to find me the same watch in another store. I believe that the used watch was about $4000 less than i new one. and and they i know that they sell a new once. The watch is gorgeous and the staff are so wonderful. I would check into it.

The Watchstand on ebay is a very reputable seller. I have bought from him. Also, "The Timekeeper" sells preowned online, too. I have bought several from him. I don't have the URL handy, but you can Google it. There are probably jewelers around you that sell pre-owned Rolexes, but aren't authorized dealers. The authorized dealer near me sometimes has pre-owned, but the prices are much higher.

The reputable people who sell pre-owned - all you have to do is tell them what you are looking for and they will find it for you.

You could also pop in to the tz watch forum, they have a sales corner section for selling, trades, and want to buy notices.

Hi

I don't know if this helps but I was reading on one of the purse threads about a site called www.portero.com I looked at it yesterday and was admiring the jewellery and watches. They have Rolex and Cartier on there.

Not sure how you would check for authenticity though.

Best wishes
