I am thinking about a new watch!
I love the j12 white watch and the classic datejust rolex. Any have a favorite? What would you choose and why?? I would love to have both! |

for me the rolex datejust is better...rolex watches are classics...they're like designer bags...they never go beyond value..although the same goes for the chanel j12...i'd prefer my watch with the rolex logo on it :)

I have the Rolex. I think the Rolex is a classic and the J12 has more of an edge to it. They are both great--but very different--watches.

They are so different. If you don't already have a Rolex go for that. Its more classic. The j12 is sporty, fashionable. Both are great though. Just depends on how you want to wear them.

Get the Rolex. The J12 is trendier, I never heard of them until this year. They don't look as classic, either.

I agree with Booga. The J12 is more of a fashion watch while the Rolex is a collector's timepiece. Go with Rolex.

I have a rolex datejust (steel oyster bracelet, pink face) which I have had for several years and a white J12 which I got for Christmas, and while I love my J12 just now and have worn it constantly since I got it, and my rolex has been in its box, I think I would recommend the rolex. It is an enduring classic. I adore the J12, but I would choose the rolex first out of the two.

I have both. The only problem I have with the rolex is that there is a $500-600 servicing that needs to be done every 7-10 years. But I think I'd still stick with the Rolex the J12 is a fun watch dont' get me wrong but its more of a fashion watch.

Go for the Rolex!!! They're classic and hold their value better for resale purposes.
