I would say you are paying too much for a flawed diamond and can probably get it for much, much less. This company www.bigdiamondsusa.com sells large diamonds with slight imperfections and their diamonds cost much, much less. They also sell via e-Bay and are a very reputable seller. I have referred several of my customers there since I don't sell diamonds.

A diamond with a feather isn't a flawed diamond. It has an inclusion. I looked at the link to bigdiamonds and read that they were clarity enhanced. I, personally, would not buy a clarity enhanced diamond.
