I'd probably pass on Zales.
What specifically are you looking for? That would help us steer you

I am not happy with Zales. Two rings I purchased from them lost stones and had to be repaired. A Movado watch DBF bought stopped working after a few weeks and the Movado I had stopped working after a year. They sent it in to get repaired and it took forever. I got it back, wore it for less than a month and stopped again! I had to send it in and wait forever again for it come back. No more Zales purchases for me ever!

I guess it depends on what you want...gold, sterling, diamonds? And what price range you're looking at..

My pops gave me the cutest li'l diamond studs for xmas, but the gold for the setting is very thin & I have to be careful putting them on & taking them off for fear of bending it....I've been known to fall asleep w/my earrings on, so I have really make sure take these off.

Have you checked out Bluenile? I've had good luck purchasing gifts with them online for my mom.

My impression is that you can get a better quality and better quality at online stores compares to Zales...
