I've been wearing a crappy $60 fossil watch for going on 3 years now, and the metal on the casing has finally started to flake off, causing major irritation to my skin... sooo:
I've sent DH into the world to find me a nicer watch for my birthday. We're looking to spend $300 or under. I definitely want a solid stainless steel casing, a date window, and no gold tone accents. I would greatly prefer an automatic/kinetic or echo-drive watch. (And yes, I know that the one below is neither.) I would also like (but are not deal breakers) a chronograph, and diamond accents. Here is what DH found: Invicta Diamond Chronograph Watch Anyone have any experience with this brand or thoughts? I would also be forever grateful for suggestions to other brands.

Seiko, citizens, and bulova are great watch brands to look at that are usually under $300. When Macy's is having a sale that is the best time to look at them. I bought a two tone diamond marker Mother of pearl le grand sport seiko watch. It is beautiful. I think that seiko also makes this watch in plain stainless steel as well. Just check out www.macys.com under their jewelry and watch section and look up the different brands of watches. You are bound to find something.
