Default i always have throuble cleaning my rings...
i leave my e-ring and diamond band in the jewellery cleaner for a few mins, then take them out, go over them w the little brush, and wipe clean w a paper towel. i always find that there are little smudges of cleaner left on the stones. any better way to do this?

you can get a home jewelry cleaner for 100.00. I clean my rings with the regular cleaner and then steam them about every 4 or 5 cleanings

I like that idea! Where do you buy one of these?

I rotate a professional Ultrasonic (a GemOro heated one) with a professional Steamer (JewelJet) and a spray called SparkleSparkle which I LOVE.

I clean my rings either daily or every other day whether they need them or not.

After cleaning I dip the corner of a napkin/paper towel in rubbing alcohol and run it over the diamonds, then dry it with a paper towel to remove any extra. It prevents spots.

I work in jewelery, and the rubbing alcohol is an excellent suggestion. It removes grease, which diamonds have a tendancy to attract. At home, I use warm soapy water with a little ammonia and a soft toothbrush. Rinse with cool water, and let air dry on lint free paper towel. Finish with rubbing alcohol once the ring has dried. Remember to clean the backs of your settings too. If you soak your jewelery for a few minutes and use the toothbrush, you should get it pretty clean. I do mine almost daily. I try not to use the ultrasonic cleaner too often because it vibrates.

This is how I clean my jewelry. I've tried a bunch of different cleaners & so far rubbing alcohol is the best
