Hugo boss or Emporio Armani watches?

I am not that familair with watches. I know brands but as for guarantee who is best and such i do not know anything. My freind is in the market to buy a watch. he wants a " classy statment watch" so he asked me about the emporani aramni watch and Hugo boss and who is "better" ( quailty, prestige). I told him buy whatever it is you want and like ; but ultimately i said armani b/c it's aramni ; but then again i have never saw a person with either brand of watch or maybe i just did not pay that much attention. I would like to know in terms of quailty who is a better built watch and guaranteed. Hugo boss or emporia armani?

Both watches are manufactured under license. Hugo Boss timepieces are made by Movado and Emporio Armani are made by Fossil. You can get both designers' watches from Movado and Fossil outlets, respectively, at a discount. They're not watch house designers so I wouldn't expect the warranty on either to be for more than one year.

I used to have a Armani watch and if I recall they are made in China. I used to sell Hugo Boss watches at Nordstrom and I think they are much nicer and are either Swiss made or have Swiss movement. If it's made by Movado it is probably Swiss made...which is something you would want to have but at the very least you would want Swiss movement.
