I am a recent owner of the H. Stern stars ring
, and am worried that I will ruin the finish if I try cleaning it like I usually would. I don't seem to have these worries with any of my other gold pieces, since the ring is fashioned in "darkened" 18k gold. It is kind of like the gold's equivalent to oxidized silver, I guess?Anyways, how should I clean it? ![]() Thanks!!!! |

I would just dip it in some jewelry cleaner and a soft brush like a toothrush and it should be fine...I have a prasiolite white gold ring with black gold under a peridot pave and it's fine when I clean it that way! and H stern is great quality so it should be fine for sure
p.s I would love to see pics of it!!! |

lol i guess no one cleans their jewelry...jk!! umm just some more suggestions there's always steam cleaning or a jewelry cloth to wipe of dirt and residues
if your scared of damaging it I would call H stern and see what they suggest just to make sure!

I would call the place where you bought it from or H. Stern's customer service and ask if there are any special instructions for caring for it.
