I've seen the HK stuff on the Zales website (http://www.zales.com/family/index.js...goryId=3363965) and a lot of it is cute (though totally overpriced, but I guess they're going to be cashing in on the market that can't afford KLS's outrageous prices) but I want to see it in person. My Zales store didn't have a clue when it was coming in - anyone know? I'm after some of the stuff where the face is all diamonds, not enamel

This afternoon I was in Sanrio and spotted this:

It's reeeeally cute and they had a few others - I think one was a hershey kiss type of thing, another was a parfait or some sort of ice cream with a strawberry on it and the last one looked like a weird gold ravioli. Any idea if these are part of a collection or if they have other sweets/candies coming out?

ETA: The Zales site just updated and said it's the HK collection by Simmons Jewelry. I'm guessing KLS?

that is cute!! too bad the zales site does not come in gold.. i would love a gold hk ring.. i can not wear silver =( i saw a ring by KLS but for 2k.. i will pass.

Ooooh I didn't know Zales had a HK collection!!! The KLS collection is far too pricey for my taste so this is a decent alternative (still a little pricey though)! I wear a lot of Tarina Tarantino Pink Head HK jewelry but it's more costumey. I'm so glad to see this stuff at Zales though!

cedes I would think that "Simmons Jewelry Co." is also KLS.. too ironic to share the same name!

I was disappointed to see that it was silver and not white gold :( but I guess I'll take what I can get.

meggy I made the same guess. Maybe her high end line isn't selling as well as she wanted? I think the Zales prices are also a little expensive, especially since it's sterling silver but it's waaay more reasonable than thousands of dollars for one tiny piece!

^^ ITA, I would expect the Zales prices to be somewhat lower considering how her original line is already really really expensive. I would think they would want to appeal to the people who can't afford that--but I don't think a lot of people could afford this line, either. I mean yes, there are diamonds in the rings, but I think maybe they should have looked into using cheaper gemstones to bring the prices under $100. I know they would sell a lot then.

KLS stuff is definately an ouch, but this stuff looks affordable and promising for people like me haha. hello kitty here i come! i'd totally consider this, absolutely cute and thanks for posting.

You know what, it says that this jewelry collection of Hello Kitty on zales is from the Simmons Jewelry Co., is that a line or company of KLS? Gosh dang goodness, then why is KLS hello kitty so expensive compared to this...just because it's form zales?

Aqua - the chain is adjustable so I think you could make it anywhere from 16" to 20".

My guess would be, like Meggy's, that Simmons Jewelry Co falls under KLS in one way or another. But I still think it's overpriced, especially because it's Zales and made from sterling silver. I'm not sure about the 1k necklace.. I really want to see this stuff in person as soon as they get it in. The ring that I like looks kind of funny, like the sapphires aren't well placed together on the face. :( But I'm hoping they'll be much cuter in person. Plus 1k can buy a lot of other things, so maybe you should find the stuff at a Zales near you and check it out first. :)

Rebecca - I know you like HK & food stuff and they had a ton of things for Christmas. If you have a Sanrio near you you should go check them out

It's really simple and understated since HK is the only thing on there

Thanks! I definitely want to but they closed both of the locations by me! I think my closest one is now South Coast Plaza. Siiigh.
