Default Harry Winston pear shape diamond ring
Is there anyone who is familiar with Harry Winston rings? I would love to know the price on this one:

http://www.instyleweddings.com/weddi...379411,00.html

It´s the pear shape diamond ring.

TIA!

it truly depends on the exact stone's specs. . . but I'd guess a 3 carat like that w/ exceptional specs from HW would be at least $70k.

SI1 Harry Winston?? My SA said they accept NOTHING less than VS2. I have a 3-stone ring from HW. A ring like the pear, I would believe would probably be from 70K and up depending on the specs. You can email or even call HW and they are super friendly!

I agree - an SI stone would be highly unusual from HW. HW is known for high quality, beautiful stones. I would definitely call & get some prices from HW directly. You will find prices vary widely with the diamond specs (color/clarity, etc.) for the same carat weight.

^^^based on price, that's re-sell I'm guessing, could be from before a standard was in place.

yeah, ITA. i cant imagine HW accepting anything lower than a VS2. and that even seems a little low for a HW

I can't quite remember the source, but I heard that Tiffany's will be or/ is recently started carrying SI1's. Maybe HW went the same way...

My fiance purchased a 1.66 carat E color VVS1 micropave cushion ring back in October for just under $40k so my hunch is that a 3-carat pear from HW will cost well over $70k. Btw, we were told by the sales associates that HW doesn't sell anything below F color or below VS2 as far as clarity is concerned.

yes that sounds right, over 70K for a 3-carat pear. And YES my SA told us the same thing for color and quality. We were there very recently to purchase an eternity band to wear with my 3stone ring from there. They will not accept any diamonds that are below those standards. (post pics of your ring! It sounds gorgeous!)
