Engagement Rings- What does yours look like?

Lilach, all I can say is, "OMG." Amazing. Do you still wear it once in awhile? Maybe on the right hand? Or does it sit in a box?

Makes my ring look kind of tiny, but here it is:

no don´t wear it anymore. just today i thought about getting it resetted maybe in platinum with emerald pavé around but i think i won´t be happy wearing it (think bad karma) so i dunno yet but most probably it will stay in the safe the way it is

It is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!! But I can understand why you don't want to wear it- Think of how many birkins that rock can finance!!!

Rinse it carefully and if you happen to have a can of "Canned Air" give it a blast, but be sure to stay back since the canned air is cold. It can fracture a stone. So you don't need to dilute the windex? Does it have to be windex, does those multipurpose spray work too?

I don't dilute it but just make it warm. You can use that neon green stuff. I forget what it's called. Has the bald man on it?? Alot of stores use that in the sonic cleaners. But don't leave it like for days or anything just overnight and you will find all the gunk in the bottom of the cup

This first is a picture of my wedding rings, I have a 14k yellow gold band, my engagement ring was my grandmother's diamond, 1/4 carat, yg 14k band and the stone is set in platinum, the anniversary ring is 14k but not diamonds- diamonique! Wanted an LV first!

This picture is my right hand, I have a 14k diamonique asscher cut 2 carats, with round stones set around it, on the bottom of setting and the sides, even though it is not real, it look it (well in real life, the pictures suck!) and sparkles beautifully, I get a lot of compliments.

Thank you, will definitely try that. I am obssessed with cleaning them. I just use dish soap with a soft toothbrush though. As long as the windex doesn't corod the platinum or the stones, I will definitely give it a go. I hate walking into the store just to have them cleaned without buying anything.

You shouldn't hate it!! They love to have ppl walk in. Never know you might find something that has to go home with you!

That's great!! If you use the canned air just make sure you keep it at leasst 12 or more inches back. Using it close can result in a fracture to your stone.
