My ring was made by someone that I found on diamondtalk.com as well :) and I'll vouch for pricescope too.

I have a Royal Asscher diamond in a platinum setting with pave diamonds set into the undersides

yay i'm not losing it after all. :) actually i think yours was the first ascher i'd ever seen...i have been dreaming about a huge ascher in an octet setting ever since. love it.

First One is my Original Engagement Ring my DH got for me a 1 Ct. Solataire in a Channel Setting and a Prong Setting Wedding Band.
After 2 Kids and Being together for 10Yrs.

He got me a 2 Ct. Asscher with MicroPave Setting.

hmm...an enganement ring is so personal and individual. I would say let him pick one, but then again..

I know I may be alone in this ring..Just to get one would be enough for me, hehe....You don´t marry the ring - you marry the mand you love.

Chaq, your rings are stunning...really love the LV-inspired one.

I don't have a lot of jewelry, but the one thing that I'm very proud to wear is the emerald-cut solitaire ring my fiance gave me. I was about to post a pic, but I could see every speck of dust on it. It'll have to wait til I give the ring a good soak.

Does anyone else have this issue w/ an emerald-cut ring?
