Valerka!! wow! I saw someone wearing a ring like that today and I almost died I wanted to grab her hand and take it away from her!! ok that was crazy but I love cushion cuts in halo pave...then again I love all rings, diamonds make me crazy!!

I don't think I've posted here before...

So here is the complete collection...

Petite e ring platinum with a round cut 0.50 ct diamond(vintage, hubby's heirloom) and my Tiffany & Co (with a round brilliant diamond - 0.02 ct- in platinum by Elsa Peretti) wedding band on my right hand (your left),

and my new upgrade (princessy dream ring since I was a little girl) ring on the left hand. Ring's TW is 4.25.

Lisa, thanks so much for the pictures! You're right...the way the pears attach to the solitaire makes the center diamond look bigger. I love it!! Thank you again for posting pics.

Btw, your dog is SO cute!! :)

2manybags - i originally wanted a round solitare because i thought it looked like a 'classic engagement' ring... i dunno if that makes sense... but then decided on the pears because it makes my classic solitaire unique.. i hope my pictures help. oh and since the pears look seamlessly attached to the solitaire it makes me center stone look bigger! definite bonus! hehe.. and the pears give good finger coverage! excuse my stubbing fingers and my messy nails. hehe.. i hope it doesn't detract you from the pears! hahah.

This thread is lots of fun! What a good idea to get exposed to many types and styles of rings before making a choice

I tried to take pics with my iPhone since my regular camera is currently dead, and they just wouldn't turn out:

But it looks exactly like this (but with lots more fire. . .):

And while I LOVE it, I also have a very soft spot in my heart for the same cut set in the Ritani "Endless Love" setting:

When I was looking in various bridal magazines for setting ideas I didn't really see any micropavé designs I liked, but I think the Ritani version is sleek enough to appeal to me :-) Maybe one day!

^^^gorgeous! you cannot go wrong with an eternity ring, especially with rocks that big!

i have heard, however, that with an eternity ring—especially like that one where the stones are bigger—it can become uncomfortable at times because of the stones scratching your fingers. i have a few eternity bands, but nothing near that big, and it can be a bit cumbersome at times, as well.

now that is something i would suffer for....
