I have a new ring in the works as we speak. I have to pass the looooong wait and look for any chance I can get to post it!

Here's the stone (3.00ct GIA L, VS2 antique asscher)

And it's being set by Leon Mege in a 5 stone ring with angled traps and bullets (the baguettes will be cut down into small bullets) - here are the stones he sourced for me (all are K, VS1) - the setting will be simple platinum, pinched asprey shank, double claw prongs.

Kind of like this, but with an asscher/square EC center (this is the inspiration ring)

I will post pics of the finished ring...in 6 weeks. An eternity!!! Sorry to post an incomplete ring, but I just couldn't wait!!!

LOL, I went back and forth between the 5 stone and a classic solitaire for ages. Then I got the bright idea to shrink the 5 stone image down to "actual" size. Once I did this, I loved the look so I took it 1 step further and pasted it over an image I already had of the stone in the holder - so I scaled it to the same size so I could visualize the 5 stone on my hand!

Not perfect, but I am obsessed, after all!
