Default Diamond band for e ring
I had posted earlier about wanting a 3 carat shared prong eternity ring for my e ring. Long story short, I tried some on in real life and they look AWFUL on my hand. I realized I need something that sits lower to my finger and isn't too bulky. I have looked online and found a few options.
Which of these would sit low to the finger and have presence without looking heavy or bulky? What is your favorite, and what wedding band would you pair it with, or should it be worn alone?

I also like a few Cartier bands, such as the Himalia, but can't post a link.

You have chosen some beautiful rings! LOVE the Tiffany one -- I would definitely wear that one alone if you choose that one. It makes too much of a statement to share any spotlight.

I also think the facets ones would be excellent choices -- either one, since they are channel bands should sit lower than shared prong. I would likely just pair either one of those with a plain band that is the same width. I could not open the Bluenile link, but I will say that for this kind of purchase, I would stick with Facets, Tiffany, or contact Whiteflash. They can definitely make something for you even if there's not one that you like on their site. I'm biased -- I live in Houston and have three pieces from Whiteflash and have visited their offices several times. But seriously, from what I read, you can't go wrong with Facets (I have my eye on a diamond cross from them since WF can't beat their price on it.) -- and we ALL know Tiffany's quality!! Pretty choices -- have FUN deciding!!!

Oh, and FWIW -- I, myself, wear a shared prong band everyday, by itself, w/o my e-ring. I LOVE that look. My e-ring is nice, but it doesn't go with the band that I got as an anniversary present. I LOVE diamond bands more anyway -- so I think you're making a great choice going this route!

Wow - didn't know whiteflash is in Houston! I was planning on going there to look at some rings since my options are limited locally!

The Blue Nile ring is the garland eternity ring. I am not at home but will fix the link later.
I am exvited about a band- I really love the look!

I love the Tiffany ring, but think you could have another jeweler do something very similar for a better price. I like thing Singlestone band too.

Have you looked at Kathy Waterman's things? She does some really pretty and delicate looking things that kind of remind me of the Tiffany ring, like this:

I like the Tiffany or the Singlestone bands of the ones you posted. However, if you're worried about the band being chunky or thick on your hand, I think the Tiffany one is the only band that will be really thin between your fingers. 2.5 carats is a pretty big band, you can see in the Facets pictures how thick the bands have to be. The Cathy Waterman rings Elizat posted are nice too because they use more pavé which means they can be thin but still sparkly and have lots of presence. For comfort, that is what I would choose. For style, I would choose either the CW rings, or the Singlestone ring, because I just love rose-cut. If possible, I would go try on some bands with the carat weight of the ones you're looking at so you have a better idea of the thickness/comfort.

As for wedding bands, I would probably wear those rings alone.

The Single Stone one is roughly 6k.

I had looked at Cathy Waterman and really like them but Ive heard they are very delicate- I wouldn't want something that I would constantly have to worry about.I haven't tried on a larger channel cut eternity so I have no idea what they will look like IRL.

I too, love the Single Stone is beautiful in it's simplicity. You might want to look at the designer Beverley K who does some really gorgeous bands that are similar. You can find a really great selection of Pricescope speak highly of them.

Pearlmansjewelers.com has a lot of Beverly K, Chad Allison, and a few others in that same style.
