I was hoping you David Yurman fans can help me out!

I bought a David Yurman bracelet for the dbf from Holts, HOWEVER they gave me just a pouch (and polishing cloth, NO BOX!)?? Dbf bought me a pair of earrings from DY at Vegas and it came packaged in a nice DY box, with polishing cloth AND a pouch. Is that only exclusive to DY retail stores??

I don't think price was a factor since my earrings are cheaper than his bracelet.

Pls help! ThankS!

Might be the store. I bought a Coach wallet, for my son's teacher, from Macy's and got a Macy's gift box. You might have to buy directly from DY to get everything.

You only get the really nice packaging when you buy from the DY boutiques. I ordered a ring once from Neiman Marcus and it came in a plastic baggy--not even a pouch!

how inconsistent!! I wonder if it depends on the item... but then I've checked ebay as well and I saw bracelets come in a DY box!

I've purchased my DY from all kinds of stores and at least with mine there was a difference in packaging depending on where I got them. If I bought from jewelers/stores I got the white pouch and a polishing cloth. The DY store in Orlando though sends home their jewels in black boxes with black pouches and cloths.

I have a decent amount of DY jewelry most purcahsed from the DY store in South Coast Plaza and one piece from Bloomingdales. All items came with the white pouch and cloth. I have one bracelet that came in the black pouch, with the box and a bow, but that was the only piece and oddly enough it was the least expensive piece I own. I usually buy from the same SA so I am not sure what the reason was for the different packaging.

I've bought 3 DY bracelets from Saks and they only came with a pouch and cleaning cloth. My DY watch did come with a box though.

My husband just got the tigers eye bead necklace about 2 weeks ago and I was VERY impressed with the dark presentation box, it was beautiful...it is long similar to a bracelet box & even had a bottom drawer.The packing from the store has always been the dark boxes,and bags.The items Ive gotten from jewelers that carry DY have been white drawstring baggies..although Saks did give us a regular ring box like the ones at the boutique.
Anyway...I played more with the box than the darn beads lol. This was at the Orlando DY store...btw if anyone needs anything from there I have an AMAZING guy:)

I'm pretty sure this is because Holts just doesn't have the David Yurman packaging.. I bought a DY ring and it came with the Holts box, polish cloth and pouch.

DY store is black box and if you ask white drawsting for travel . Department stores are white travel bag only. No DY boxes. I buy most of my DY at the boutique, GREAT service there. I always ask for travel pouches with my blk boxes.

I've bought DY from Saks, Neiman Marcus, and a local jewelry store... I've only gotten pouches and cleaning cloths. What does the box look like? Usually, the stores give them to me in the store gift boxes, not a DY box.
