Hi, I was wondering if any of you knew how much the straps for the Chopard happy sport watch cost. I have a green croc strap and the leather belt-thingy the strap goes through is falling apart

Anyway, it's probably easy to repair but I was wondering if I should switch to a metal bracelet/strap? The leather is beautiful, but I wear it everyday and maybe that's why it was starting to fall apart. What are your thoughts? Also, how much would a metal strap cost? Thanks in advance for any advice!

a new strap is about $400 for croc, which is what I paid in 9/2010. I know at the time the rubber straps has just come out and those were $180. based on the "croc" strap's "cut" so to speak, the price is about $400. I have the happy sport chrono with a 41mm face. it's tee thickest strap. i did experience though that he Vegas chopard had prices a bit cheaper than nyc.

Just wondering how long you have had the watch strap? Exotic leather straps are recommended to be switched at a minimum of one year intervals. In some cases even 6-8 months depending on the exotic leather in question.

If ur watch didn't come with a metal strap and you need to buy one it's around 2k at the time I was buying it a couple of years back. It's crazy expensive and an inconvenience to find (mine had to be ordered) I was silly not to purchase it with the watch initially

I have a Chopard Happy Heart watch... had a pink croc strap which wasn't my taste at all (was purchased that way by my mom)... went to Chopard on Madison some months back (somewhere btwn Jan-March) and the stainless steel strap cost a small fortune... about 2.8K. I called in advance to check on availability and to reserve one. Anyway, they made the change at the store for me and I didn't have to wait long at all!
