Hi ladies, quick question for you...

My lovely DF bought me a new cartier tank watch for christmas and I'm a little confused by the sticker thats on the back of the watch face. There is a clear sticker that says "Next May 09 F." Does anyone know what this means?

He bought it new from Amazon.

I can't find the sticker but my box not the red Cartier box but the white box has something similar but I always thought it had someting to do w/ the batterry life

, mine was purchased from Neiman Marcus.

that would make sense re battery as my sticker is on the back of the watch face (not the white box or red cartier box) but mine is an automatic so no battery.

does anyone know? I'd appreciate any feedback from owners... i know a lot of pple own this watch. come on people! :)

I think it is when you need to change the battery. For automatics, perhaps that is when they would like you to have a service? Why not call Cartier and ask? They should be able to tell you over the phone -- or at their 800#. Let us know! I'm curious, now!
