Cartier roadster gold straps?
Does anyone know if you can buy the 18K gold straps separately?
I am considering buying this watch but want the option later of buying the 18K gold straps and interchanging between alligator. http://www.jomashop.com/cartier-we500160.html |

If anyone wanted to know the answer is yes you can buy 18k straps seperatly but it costs $15k from Cartier. I'm sure you can get a discount but still expensive!! |

Couldn't you just buy another 18k roadster for that price and just have the two watches? BTW- could you post pics of your purchase? I'm considering a roadster

I havent actually bought the watch yet. I am waiting for my bithday. I will post in a couple of months. If you have a cartier near you you should drop in and try one on! |

Yeah, I'd just go ahead and get the other watch!
I might, but I'm chronically afraid of high-end retail stores. They scare me. I prefer to do all my shopping online, but it looks like the only one near me is at Neiman Marcus, so I might be able to force myself to try some of them on since it's not a traditional cartier boutique. |

^ I agree high end stores can be intimidating and scary but on line shopping scares me too! I try to zone out snotty sales ppl and find the nice ones : )

Yeah, I'm going to go with an LV and I'll try to dress up a little bit. I might bring my Dad along, but then he'd ask "how much are these?" which is the question THAT SHOULD NEVER BE ASKED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES (my mom thinks my LV cost $150) |

i have the roadster but the stainless steel one. I bought it from the cartier store and it actually comes with the gold strap and satin strap. you usually buy the alligator strap separately afterwards. guess its not the same on joma shop.
