I first saw the diamond tag formula 1 on a cruiseship last year. The price seemed reasonable (under 1000), but at that point i chose not to purchase it...now once back on land, i am lusting over it. however the price on land seems ASTRONOMICALLY higher than the cruise...why is that? Also...does anyone know the price (on a cruiseship). I am contemplating buying one, however if i could go on a small, short cruise and buy the watch for the same price as just buying the watch on land, id be slightly inclined to do so.

the reason its so much less is because its discounted on top of taxes and duty fees. i also know that some manufacturers make lines of jewelry/watches for sale in the Caribbean and on cruise ships. id call the mfg and just make sure that wat ur lusting over is the same quality before u book the cruise :)
