Has anyone here ever bought jewelry from Barneys and returned it? I received a pair of earrings as a gift from there, with the price tag still attached. I called Barneys to ask if I could bring them in and exchange them or get a store credit and they told me that they do not allow pierced earrings to be returned.

Is this true? I have never heard of a store not allowing earrings to be returned. Do higher end stores do this?

...It's true. I changed my mind on a pair I bought @ Barney's NYC and they would not let me return/exchange them.

I've heard this with pierced earrings as well. I think its a health issue. Sorry.
