Default 7.6 Carat Garnet Ring
Hey there everyone,

I have been shopping around for a right hand ring. And I came across a very nice and classy garnet ring. Garnet is also my birthstone so I love it even more. The only thing is the garnet is 7.6 carats! Does anyone think 7 carats is way too big or is it ok? My husband happens to think it's giant! Hehe! At first, when I saw it, it was huge! The more I looked at it the more I got used to the size of it and it didn't seem big. So today I revisited the ring...and I couldn't decide if I should shop around some more and find something in the 4 carat range. Advice, please!

Thanks!

if you like the bigger size then get it especially in a right hand ring! they're supposed to be fun!

IDK, it might be too big for every day wear. Does it have nice color?

if it looks perfect on your finger and you can well afford it, then i don't see the problem with 7.6 carats! get it so the rest of us can drool over it.....

Hi ladies!

Thanks! It has very good color! I would have bought the ring then and there, but as Leelee mentioned that it may be too big for everyday wear. So I can only show it off on special occasions. But I am in love with it, and have looked around from something similar but a tad smaller. No luck yet! What's a girl to do, right!?!! Can never have too much accessories, right!?!!

I think if you had the right look, you could pull it off as an everyday look (not with sweats, but a polished look). If you had the right attitude, I don't think anyone would look at you weird.

Also, I'm not sure how big it is millimeter-wise, because carat weight for garnets (I'm assuming) gives you a different sized stone that it would in diamond weight.

Default Phicture of Ring
Hi Ladies....

So I think it's more of 7.0 carat ring instead of a 7.6. But anyways, here's a picture of the ring I've been drooling over. Let me know what you all think!

Cheers!

To me, that's something I could wear on my index finger with a dark pair of jeans, heels, and a fitted blazer.

Also, you could have it reset into a band without the diamonds to make it even more casual.

Lol. I'm the same way... I need a second opinion that supports my own. So now that you have it, go buy the ring that you love.
