So I've recently been inspired by Queen Dalia's gold cartier roadster and walked into cartier recently to inquire about purchasing one for myself.
However I was told by the SA, they're no longer making this (the 18K gold watch is only avaliable with diamonds only or as a mens watch). I was offered both, but I'm not a fan of bling bling watches and my wrist is too small for anything mens sized. Can someone confirm this? It just seems so odd that such a classic colour and staple is bein discontinued. The SA didn't seem too knowledgable either...though she was nice |

it very well could be cartier loves to do that - retire supposedly classic models (they did the same with some tank americaine models some time back)
i also took a look on cartiers web site where it is also not available anymore. your best bet could be not a cartier boutique but an authorised dealer they may still have one in the back |

I just purchased a watch recently...wednesday to be precise, hehe, and was hoping to get this one next...but sometime in the future, so perhaps, by the time i do really lust after one, Cartier will reintroduce it into the collection...hopefully... (it's just too soon to be heading off the an AD...right!?!?)
Cartier can be so annoying at times. But I'll still love them |

Try Alan Furman, it's not an authorized dealer, but they have their own warranty. I am completely satisfied with the SS Roadster I purchased in 2007 from them. |
