I'm 32 and wear them. I don't think they have age restrictions, hehe. I think the association some people have with them is the short jean skirt/ugg look, which is what most high schoolers around here still wear. I don't know how they wear them in summer...my feet would totally overheat!

Btw, I think crocs are horrid and will never wear them. Period.

I'm 27 and I wear them. But I would never wear them with a skirt or shorts. But I live in them in the winter. They're so warm and comfy.

I love my uggs! They are VERY comfy and they keep my feet super warm. I only wear them during the winter though.. it really annoys me whenever I see girls wear them in the summer and/or with a mini skirt.

I live in my Uggs in the winter, but I always wear them under my pants. They are so comfy and even keep my feet warm when it's -30C. There comes a point in the middle of winter when I don't care what I look like, I just want to stay warm!

However, I will never be caught in crocs.

LOL, I'm in my 50s and I have worn Uggs almost every day in the winter for the past several years!! I usually wear my pants tucked in or rolled up to the top of them.

There's no age limit on Uggs. It just depends on how you wear them!

Warmth. They are for function, not fashion IMHO.

If you don't like the Ugg look, they also makes boots with the same sheepskin lining but a regular leather exterior and a more durable sole. Nothing especially cute but very comfy. Ugg also makes the best house slippers.

Unless you live in a cold climate, it's hard to understand the appeal of Uggs. Yes, they aren't the prettiest shoes. But there is nothing, anywhere, that keeps you warmer in the winter. I don't get all these people who say, "But there are alternatives." No, there really isn't! When it's like sub-zero outside, literally, you'll love your Uggs!

*brrrrr*

I thought Uggs were just a fad and avoided them. Costco has a similar short boot for $20. But when I snagged Broome boots price matched at Zappos from Saks last year at $65 and finally tried them on, they were soooo warm and comfortable.
