What to wear red shoes with?

i love red shoes. it will really adds pop to any neutral colored outfit. i usually don't like to have any other red accessories on if i wear red shoes... then it looks too matchy.

I have a few pair of red shoes. You can wear red with just about anything this year since red is in. However, personally I would stay away from wearing red with green.

I am thinking of buying a pair of red platforms and I have a red Marc Jacobs Venetia ... would it be too much if I wear both with like a black top and jeans?

Everything!!! Except red, duh! and green or you'll look like a Christmas tree.
Especially love red shoes with gray flannel, and dark brown.

Do not wear wear red shoes with a red bag. There are only extreme exceptions to that rule. Usually the shoes have to be multi color or two tone. You'll know what I mean if you try it.

Depends upon how heavy the shoe looks. May not work at all.

I have a pair of red funky mary janes from Geoffredo Fantini and every time I wear them, at least one stranger comes up to me to comment about my shoes. I usually wear my reds with an all-black outfit because they are a focus for the outfit and I think everything else should be muted, but someone in this month's Bazaar who is quoted as saying red shoes are dessert for the feet suggests wearing them with a leopard print. I could see that working with red heels.

I wore ruby/scarlet ballet flats with black pants and a jewel-toned teal top, I think it looked really cute, even though a kid said I didn't match, but from adults who have some fashion sense I got some compliments. I'm also planning on wearing my red shoes with deep purple tops and dark jeans. I say be bold with what you pair them with.
